Also, this year Teledyne Marine will have a large representation at Ocean Business in Southampton April 18-20, 2023. Your first point of contact would be at our booth at T7 where we will be available to guide you to our many activities over the 3 days.
Our main highlights will be the release of several new products. We will be demoing our equipment on the dockside and in our Teledyne Marine Demo and Hospitality suite. Also, we will be presenting technology insights with industry experts at our training presentations. The world is changing, but some things stay the same. This year we will of cause be part of the traditional Ocean Business wine trail. But most of all we look forward to meeting old friends and getting new ones.
At Teledyne Marine we always strive give our customers the best possible tools to fulfill their tasks. That’s why we keep innovating and at Ocean Business 23 we have some truly interesting new products for you.
Gavia
Longer endurance, greater payload capacity and true modularity.
THE OSPREY AUV builds upon the Gavia the world's first truly open and modular AUV. The Osprey AUV has a 324 mm diameter in order to carry additional energy allowing for extended operational endurances in excess of 24 hours (configuration dependent) while increasing the depth rating to a 2,000 meter depth rating of the proven Gavia design.
Osprey Modularity - The modular mechanical, electrical, and network interfaces enable easy sharing, swapping, replacement, and new technology insertion within all components. The Teledyne QuickLock Mechanism is a high strength interlock that joins the modules and maintains water-tight integrity. Mechanical/electrical blind-mating, proven in the Gavia AUV, facilitates rapid vehicle assembly/disassembly, and repair.
RD Instruments
300, 600, 1200 kHz direct‐reading and self‐contained ADCPs
RD Instruments’ Workhorse—the most sold ADCP in the world— just got better. We’ve enabled new features and even better performance across more applications and demanding environments with the Workhorse II. RDI’s proven MEMS heading and tilt sensors with 1° RMS heading accuracy at up to ±70 tilt offer superior performance at the highest latitudes. Raw magnetic data can be logged, and the new software makes post‐deployment heading corrections a breeze. Workhorse II also offers: A highly robust metal shell connector; 16 GB compact flash memory; and new intuitive planning software.
With the direct‐reading Monitor, self‐contained Sentinel, and vessel‐mounted Mariner configurations, the Workhorse II is among the most versatile and capable ADCP platforms. Bottom tracking, directional waves, high-resolution, LADCP, and ice‐tracking modes are available on any model, making any model capable of interdisciplinary use. And original Workhorses can receive Workhorse II upgrades for many more years of successful deployments.
TSS
Next generation subsea navigator
TOGSNAV is a fully integrated subsea navigation system ideally designed for ROVs and large AUVs. It builds on the TSS fibre optic gyroscope technology and inertial navigation capability and is fully coupled and integrated with the world leading Teledyne RDI phased array Tasman DVL.
Available in three standard heading accuracy variants: 0.05° (TOGSNAV05), 0.1° (TOGSNAV1) and 0.5° (TOGSNAV5), all coupled with the 600kHz RDI Tasman DVL, providing 160m bottom track range.
TSS
When Performance & Reliability Matters
The Teledyne TSS world leading north seeking SATURN INS inertial navigation system range has just got bigger. We are pleased to announce the addition of the SATURN 05INS our highest specification and performance model to date. Not only does this new system offer enhanced high accuracy navigation it is fully compliant with MIL-STD-810H & MIL-STD-167A for shock & vibration, and MIL-STD-461G for EMC. We are also pleased to announce the introduction of our INS Post Processing solution.
Built on our reliable and robust IMU (inertial Measurement Unit), utilising our TSS FOG (Fibre Optic gyro) technology and enhanced with our own proven and trusted INS Algorithms. The SATURN INS is offered in four standard heading accuracy variants: 0.05°, 0.1°, 0.3° & 0.5° to suite virtually every customer need.
